Accounts Apprentice
We are looking for an Accounts Apprentice to join a small and dynamic team in Warrington. We offer the opportunity to join our organisation with great learning and advancement potential in a growing company within a niche sector.
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

- Inputting sales purchase orders
- Creating sales invoices
- Maintaining spreadsheets and databases
- Stock control
- Compiling profit and loss data
- Organising end to end logistics
- Customs paperwork
- General accounts duties

What you'll learn
Course contents
- Assist with the investigation and response to financial information queries.
- Record and analyse financial data using the organisation’s standard tools and processes.
- Apply double entry bookkeeping and accounting standards to process financial documents, generate financial statements and report financial information to users of accounts.
- Assist with production of accurate financial information for the preparation of accounts.
- Reconcile financial data, such as, preparation of reconciliations or review of reconciliations.
- Investigate, resolve or escalate transactional queries and errors within their remit as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
- Communicate financial information in a way that non-finance stakeholders can interpret and understand.
- Utilise digital skills to present key financial information using finance and accounting software and applications.
- Use software packages to assist with basic accounting tasks in line with cyber and data security requirements, using data securely and safely, including backing up data.
- Communicate using varying approaches and different media methods with an appreciation of the risks and benefits to the business of social media and other digital applications.

Training schedule
Assistant Accountant Level 3.
The successful applicant will work alongside our experienced team members to learn the role and how the industry works from the inside. They will pick up a vast array of knowledge and skills with great scope for continued learning.
Essential qualifications
- GCSE in:
- Maths or English (grade 4)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements
We are currently looking for a larger warehouse to base our company out of as a result it would be preferred if the applicant could drive, we are planning to stay within the greater Warrington area but some of the new locations may be away from public transport routes.
Company benefits
- The apprentice will be eligible to join the company bonus scheme after 12-months with us. The bonus scheme awards all employees with a bonus based on the company performance over the previous 12-months.

- Upon completion of apprenticeship, we would be willing to fund the applicants CIMA qualification. Beyond this the applicant would be supported in taking on more responsibility an advancing within the company providing they wish to do so. The company is constantly growing year on year, and we would be looking for a team member who can grow with the organisation.
