Accounts Apprentice – Level 3 AAT Qualification
Role Summary Contribute to Costello Medical’s global finance function while studying towards the Level 3 AAT qualification (full funding provided by First Intuition).

About the Role
Costello Medical—operating globally in UK, US, Canada, Singapore, and China—is a rapidly growing healthcare agency specialising in medical communications, market access, and health economics.
As an Accounts Apprentice, you will:
- Support the global in-house Finance team in Cambridge.
- Work towards Level 3 AAT (Assistant Accountant), with structured training, mentor support, and online resources from First Intuition.
Career Progression: Upon completion, potential to transition to a permanent Finance role with further study opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Ledger Support
- Prepare and dispatch invoices.
- Liaise with clients regarding payments.
- Purchase Ledger Tasks
- Process supplier invoices and respond to payment enquiries.
- Expense Management
- Handle internal/external expenses and multi-currency petty cash.
- Financial Administration
- Enter transactions into company systems.
- Provide ad-hoc support as needed.

We’re seeking an ambitious, adaptable Grade 6 GCSE pass (Maths & English essential; A-Levels advantageous) with:

✅ Numerical proficiency: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. ✅ Organisation & time management: Ability to juggle work + apprenticeship study under tight deadlines. ✅ Communication: Strong verbal/written English for internal/external customer relations. ✅ Motivation: Self-driven, eager to learn in-house finance and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable (Non-essential)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (full training provided).
- Friendly service orientation for fluid team collaboration.
