Our Client
Our client is a growing business looking for an Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting experience within a supportive environment, with study support and a strong benefits package.
The Benefits

About You
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Experience in credit control and bank reconciliations
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- AAT qualification or studying towards one is desirable

About Your New Role
You will support the day-to-day finance function, maintaining accurate records and assisting with reporting and reconciliations.
Always
- Maintain accurate financial records and follow established procedures.
- Handle financial information with care and confidentiality.

Often
- Manage credit control and customer account queries.
- Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Process supplier invoices and reconcile statements.
- Prepare journals and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with management accounts, Profit & Loss reporting and cash flow monitoring.
Occasionally
- Support month-end and year-end processes.
- Assist with additional reporting and wider finance administration.
Never
- Overlook discrepancies or compromise accuracy.
