Job Description
Our client is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is an office-based role, requiring attendance in the office five days a week, Monday – Friday and is ideal for someone with solid all-round accounts experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions
- Managing invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks
- Using Xero to manage financial data and reporting
- Providing general administrative support to the finance function as required

Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role with well-rounded accounts experience
- Proficiency in Xero is essential
- Be happy to work from the office five days per week, Monday - Friday
- Be organised, accurate, and have excellent attention to detail.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Desirable
- Previous experience working with purchase ledger and sales ledger is desirable; however, we can be flexible.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to work.
