About You

Do you want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma to live longer and better lives? We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team in this varied role which is suitable for someone who is accurate and organised, but also curious, improvement-minded and keen to contribute beyond transactional processing.

You will need experience of being in an Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) end-to-end role with knowledge of VAT reporting and requirements and a strong understanding of month end and reconciliations.

You will have excellent attention to detail with the ability to build relationships and to work in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders. The post holder will be highly proficient in the use of Excel and have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to work calmly under pressure. Experience of XLedger cloud accounting software and/or Raiser’s Edge CRM software would be an advantage but not essential.

About The Role

The Accounts Assistant will work closely with the Financial Controller and colleagues across the organisation, taking ownership of key AP and AR processes while also acting as a trusted finance contact for teams, helping them understand processes, resolve queries and make confident, well-informed decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
