The Role

Offering an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a team providing top-notch compliance and advisory services to their valued clients. As part of the team, you will have the chance to make a real impact in a dynamic and supportive work environment. Duties will include:

  • Preparation of annual accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders and perform independent examinations for charities
  • Preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts for a variety of clients in a range of sectors
  • VAT returns
  • Establish a working relationship with clients and dealing with any queries
  • Liaising with clients for data collection and progress
  • Monitoring and achieving targets
  • Ensuring assignments are completed to agreed timetable and budget/costs

Experience Required

  • Excellent experience and knowledge of year end accounts production
  • ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or working towards ACCA Qualification
  • Experience of practice management software
  • Have excellent communication skills to build relationships with clients, colleagues, stakeholders
