NHB Recruitment are working alongside this highly successful, family-owned international real estate investment and asset management group, in their search for an Accounts Assistant.
This newly created role will provide broad exposure across the finance function, supporting day-to-day transactional accounting, property-level accounting and month-end/quarter-end processes. Responsibilities will include reconciliations across cash, bank, AR, accruals and prepayments, assisting with journals and variance analysis, service charge administration, billing, VAT/CIS compliance and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have previous accounts or finance experience, strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. You’ll need to be proactive, comfortable working to deadlines and confident communicating with both internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant position
- Strong Excel and finance systems skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive and organised approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- UK real estate or property accounting experience is desirable
- Yardi experience would be advantageous
