As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting processes. This permanent position offers the chance to support the finance team by handling important day-to-day tasks that keep the business running effectively.

Description
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
- Gain exposure to reporting across multiple international entities and jurisdictions.
- Assist with month-end processes, intercompany accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Work closely with finance teams across multiple countries.
- Develop your commercial finance knowledge through reporting, analysis, and process improvement projects.
- Play a key role in automation and AI initiatives aimed at improving finance processes and efficiencies.

Profile
A Successful Accounts Assistant Should Have
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role within the infrastructure industry is advantageous.
- Studying towards an ACCA/CIMA/AAT.
- Confident with journals, reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage their own workload.
- Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
- Interested in technology, automation, and AI within finance.
