About The Role
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the dealership's accounting processes, supporting both the finance team and wider business operations.
This varied role offers exposure to multiple aspects of dealership accounts, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their knowledge and experience within a busy finance environment.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Supporting sales ledger and purchase ledger activities
- Processing, checking, and filing invoices and statements
- Handling supplier and purchase ledger queries
- Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting daily banking and cashflow processes
- Assisting with credit control activities
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Providing general administrative support to the accounts department
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous accounts or finance experience, although this is not essential
- Experience within the motor industry would be advantageous but not required
- A desire to develop a career within finance and accounting
- AAT studies or progress towards relevant qualifications would be beneficial for candidates without previous experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A customer-focused and team-oriented approach
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
