Posting Description
We’re hiring for an Accounts Assistant to support our growing Finance team in Bromsgrove!
To keep up with our growth in the UK and Ireland, we're looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant to support the Sales Ledger Finance Manager in managing incoming revenue, maintaining accurate financial records, and completing key accounting activities across the NFP UK Holdings group of companies.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Good communication to communicate effectively across the business with colleagues and with external clients via e-mail, phone or face to face
- Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to build effective relationships with external partners and ensure the timely delivery of objectives whilst managing the expectations of stakeholders regarding delivery timescales.
- A pro-activeness, who works at a fast pace but doesn’t sacrifice attention to detail and enjoys being busy
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring that work is checked thoroughly and picks up on small errors. Able to compare numerical and written information and spot patterns and/or discrepancies.
- Accounting experience in a fast-paced working environment
- Experience with Workday preferred but not crucial

Using these skills, you’ll be:
- Managing incoming commissions by supporting the wider team, to ensure all incoming commissions for the business lines (Employee Benefits, Wealth, HR advisory) are recorded accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Processing commission related bank transactions and ensuring bank reconciles.
- Overseeing invoices, ensuring sales invoices are raised and issued as required for the relevant business entities.
- Working with the broader finance group to help build the annual budgets and reforecast as required throughout the year.
- Assisting the group in the completion of audit requests as and when required
- Supporting the wider finance team in the preparation of month end reporting documents as required
- Assisting with transformation activity across the group in order to improve and streamline finance processes
- Aiding with ad-hoc finance projects as required.
- Chasing commission revenue not received as encouraged in a timely manner
