We’re working with a successful leisure business in Blackpool that is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join its team. This is a genuinely varied position where you’ll be encouraged to turn your hand to multiple areas of finance, gaining exposure well beyond traditional transactional accounting.

What will you be doing?
You’ll play an important role in keeping the day-to-day finance function running smoothly, with responsibilities including:
- Managing purchase ledger, including processing invoices and supplier reconciliations
- Completing bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
- Supporting the wider finance team with month-end accounting
- Assisting with fleet management, maintaining accurate records and costs
- Processing payments and supporting supplier queries
- Assisting with general finance administration and ad-hoc accounting projects
- Providing accurate financial information to help the business make informed decisions
