Responsibilities
- Prepare bookkeeping and VAT returns as required.
- Prepare management figures and statutory financial statements under FRS 105 and FRS 102 1A.
- Prepare corporation tax returns and handle routine compliance matters.
- Investigate and resolve queries from clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Work directly with client managers to understand client requirements and identify opportunities for more detailed specialist advice.
- Contact suppliers to verify bank details and process payments on internal systems and client online banking platforms.
As an Accounts Assistant Associate, you will:
- Have experience working within a practice firm for 1 year.
- Have experience performing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients.
- Be a strong communicator both written and verbal.
- Preferably have experience working with Xero.
