Responsibilities

  • Prepare bookkeeping and VAT returns as required.
  • Prepare management figures and statutory financial statements under FRS 105 and FRS 102 1A.
  • Prepare corporation tax returns and handle routine compliance matters.
  • Investigate and resolve queries from clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Work directly with client managers to understand client requirements and identify opportunities for more detailed specialist advice.
  • Contact suppliers to verify bank details and process payments on internal systems and client online banking platforms.

As an Accounts Assistant Associate, you will:

  • Have experience working within a practice firm for 1 year.
  • Have experience performing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients.
  • Be a strong communicator both written and verbal.
  • Preferably have experience working with Xero.
