Beyond Talent Solutions are delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Barnsley to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied finance role, thrives in a busy environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive and friendly team.
The Role
Duties
You’ll play an important role within the finance team, supporting with a variety of day-to-day accounting and finance duties, including:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Raising sales invoices
- Allocating payments and resolving invoice queries
- Credit control, including chasing outstanding invoices and managing customer accounts
- Handling customer and supplier invoice queries
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks
- General finance administration and ad-hoc duties as required

We’re looking for someone who is:
- Confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders
- Organised, reliable and able to manage their own workload
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Keen to develop their finance experience
- A team player with a positive, hands-on approach

Previous experience within an accounts or finance environment would be beneficial.
