Role Overview
We are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team, working approximately 20 hours per week. This role is ideally suited to a university student studying Accounting & Finance, or a related subject, who is looking to gain practical finance experience alongside their studies. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support to the Finance team, with a particular focus on Accounts Payable, invoice processing, and general finance administration.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day Accounts Payable activities
- Monitor the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to or escalate queries as appropriate
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Check invoices and supporting information for completeness and accuracy
- Assist with maintaining accurate supplier and accounting records
- Support the resolution of invoice and payment queries
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as required
- Dealing with Monthly employee’s expenses and reporting

Qualifications & Experience
- Currently studying towards a degree in Accounting & Finance, Finance, Business, or a related subject
- Keen interest in developing practical experience in Finance and Accounting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage tasks effectively
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel

This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week, designed to provide valuable practical experience alongside university studies.
