About Us
Raznoimport (UK) Ltd is a specialist base-metals trading firm focused on Nickel and Copper, operating across global supply chains with counterparties spanning Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America. We're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team and support the day-to-day financial operations that keep our trading business running smoothly.
The Role
You'll work closely with our commercial, trade finance, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial record-keeping and support the accounting processes underpinning our physical commodity trades. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in commodity trading finance within a lean, fast-paced environment where you'll gain exposure to international trade transactions from day one.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, including supplier and customer invoices tied to trade shipments
- Assist with bank reconciliations across multiple currencies and accounts
- Support month-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system
- Liaise with banks and trade finance counterparties on payment processing and documentation
- Assist with tracking letters of credit, invoices, and related trade documentation for payment purposes
- Support VAT returns and other routine statutory filings
- Help prepare data for management reporting and audits
- General administrative support to the finance and trade operations team
What We're Looking For

- Prior experience in an accounts/bookkeeping role (commodity trading, shipping, or international trade experience a strong plus, but not essential)
- Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar) and strong Excel skills
- Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and basic financial controls
- Comfortable working with multi-currency transactions
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and reliable with deadlines
- Strong communication skills — able to liaise confidently with banks, suppliers, and internal teams
