Internal Opportunity – Accounts Assistant - Ripon – Finance

We have an excellent internal opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. What you’ll be doing in this role:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities for the property function, ensuring accurate financial administration and record-keeping.
  • Managing the property inbox, responding to queries and coordinating property-related financial transactions.
  • Maintaining accurate lease information within internal databases and ensuring rent payments are processed correctly and on time.
  • Allocating property costs and charges to branches through journal postings, ensuring accurate cost distribution and reporting.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience using databases and systems to accurately record, maintain, and manage information.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and manage data effectively.
  • Motivated to develop professionally, with a willingness to study towards qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, or CIMA; experience working with leases would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience within finance with an understanding of financial processes and administration.
