About The Role

We’re looking for an organised, reliable and proactive Accounts Assistant to join the Chilled Pubs Support Team.

This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the business. You’ll be responsible for ensuring transactions are accurately recorded, reconciliations are completed, payments are processed and our financial information is kept up to date.

Accuracy and attention to detail are important, but so are the way you work with others and the standards you bring to the role. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, spots things that need doing and works collaboratively as part of the wider Chilled team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Downloading and uploading bank statements.
  • Allocating and posting bank payments, receipts and transfers accurately.
  • Updating postings within the cash flow forecast.
  • Completing daily sales reconciliations.
  • Managing the purchase ledger for designated suppliers, including posting and reconciling transactions.
  • Generating payments for weekly payment runs.
  • Processing credit card expenses and maintaining accurate reconciliations.
  • Maintaining the pub colour sheet.
  • Supporting the wider accounts function with accurate and timely financial administration.
  • Identifying discrepancies or issues and taking ownership of getting them resolved.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure information is accurate, complete and available when needed.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

Accurate and organised

You take pride in getting the detail right, keep your work organised and understand the importance of accurate financial information.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
