Location: Cardiff (Fully Site-Based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: £27,000 per annum
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accounts experience who is looking to further develop their skills and build a long-term career within finance.
The successful candidate will join a positive working environment that encourages professional development and offers plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and progress within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching, checking, and coding invoices
- Assisting with payment runs and supplier statements
- Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving queries
- Supporting sales ledger and invoicing activities
- Maintaining accurate financial records and account information
- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments regarding account queries
- General finance administration duties as required

About You
- Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk, or similar role
- Good understanding of purchase ledger and invoicing processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work
- Eager to learn, develop new skills, and progress within a finance career
