About the job
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day accounting operations, in our Grimsby office-based finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic organisation, working with various accounting software and financial systems in the motor trade industry including Keyloop.
Responsibilities
- To input supplier invoices and reconcile statements
- To pay suppliers including regular payment run processes
- Reviewing aged creditors
- Raising and processing bank payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Month end accounting tasks
- Managing accounts queries
- Assisting the senior finance team in preparation of monthly management accounts where needed
- To carry out any other duties as may be reasonably expected in accordance with the position

Requirements
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- This position is fully office based and attendance on-site in Grimsby will be required for all working hours
