Are you detail-oriented, Excel-savvy, and eager to launch your accounting career? Focus Group is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Financial Operations team.
About the Role
You'll be at the heart of our financial operations, processing bank transactions, performing crucial reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of our accounting systems. This isn't just data entry—it's about understanding the financial heartbeat of a 1,300-person technology business.
What you'll be doing:
- Reconciling bank accounts and spotting the details that matter
- Processing and posting receipts into our accounting systems
- Performing reconciliations between billing and accounting systems
- Supporting cash forecasting and financial reporting
- Working closely with our sales and purchase ledger teams

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Some experience with reconciliations (cashier or accounts assistant role)
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- A meticulous eye for detail
- Ability to work to monthly deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine interest in building a finance career
