The Role
The main purpose of the role is to assist the Finance Team in providing high quality financial information in order to actively support the growing business. This includes month end close, annual budget and statutory audit. The right person will be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment to drive process improvements. This role will be reporting to the Management Accountant.

What will the role include?
- Assisting with calculations to prepare accurate monthly accruals and prepayments journal entries
- Supporting the preparation of internal reports and finance analysis across the business
- Contributing to the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Supporting the timely preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Contributing to the preparation of quality evidence for the annual statutory audit
- Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment, ensuring effective internal communication and contributing to the success of the wider team.
- Undertaking ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities to meet changing business needs and departmental objectives.

What would we like to see in you?
- Finance related University degree
- Desire to pursue career in finance, you will be keen to learn new skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good, practical knowledge of Excel, knowledge of advanced formulas will be advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- A team player, with good communication skills to be able to interact with colleagues within the business.
