Accounts Assistant
Location: Highgate, North London
Salary: £27,000-30,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, fully office based
We’re working with a well-established property business with an excellent reputation in the market, who are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their stable and close-knit team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 1 year of accounts experience who is looking for a long-term role, excellent training and the opportunity to develop their career within a successful property business.
The Role
Working as part of the accounts team, you’ll provide support across both Client Accounts and Corporate Accounting, with the initial focus on Client Accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing new tenancies, extensions and terminations
- Releasing deposits and processing works orders
- Maintaining accurate tenancy and financial records
- Allocating rental payments and processing bank receipts
- Raising fees and generating invoices
- Processing refunds
- Inputting and coding purchase invoices
- Assisting with weekly supplier payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Liaising with suppliers, landlords and other stakeholders
- Providing general and ad-hoc accounts support
You’ll receive full training on the company’s systems and processes, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their experience and develop within a supportive team.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in an accounts environment, ideally with at least 1 year’s experience
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating both verbally and in writing
- Polished, professional and articulate, with the confidence to communicate with high-net-worth clients and other senior stakeholders
- A quick learner who is keen to develop
- Reliable, focused and able to work well within a team
- Comfortable working in a fully office-based environment
