Natta Building Company is currently looking for a motivated and organised Accounts Assistant to join our team.

The role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of a busy finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the finance department. This is a position that would suit someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering accurate work.

You may have worked in the Construction industry previously and want to get back into this or are currently working in this area.

Responsibilities:

• Input and check invoices using Coins software
• Check delivery tickets, resolve discrepancies and liaise with site teams and suppliers
• Ensure timely processing of invoices through effective ticket management
• Raise weekly and monthly payments in line with payment terms
• Reconcile supplier statements to the ledger & request copies as required
• Answer e-mails and telephone calls relating to supplier queries
• Raise monthly sales invoices
• Assist the accounts team with processing as and when required
• Subcontractor payments
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Manage and collect debts
• Post receipts to customer accounts
