Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Salary: Up to £32,000
Location: Durham
Service Care are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing organisation based in the heart of Durham. Due to expansion, they are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join them to help with the day to day accounts.
If you have experience with Sage and are looking for your next Accounts Assistant role, this could be the role for you!
What you will be doing
- Daily bank and cash reconciliation
- Posting invoices and monies received into Sage50
- Reconciliation of the credit card accounts
- Assisting with the maintenance of the creditor and debtor ledgers
- Assisting with prepayments and accruals for the journals
- Chasing outstanding debt as and when required
- Reconciliation of deposits and other payments on accounts
- Assisting with VAT returns, submissions, and reconciliations
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required

What you will have
- Experience within a similar role
- Experience with Sage is essential
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- High attention to detail
