Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join a remote UK-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional looking to build a career in accounting and finance while supporting day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting and finance activities.
- Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations.
- Respond to internal and external finance-related queries.
- Work closely with the wider finance team to support reporting and administrative requirements.

Requirements
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles is beneficial.
- Relevant accounting, finance, or business qualification is advantageous but not essential.
