Accounts Assistant – TV & Entertainment

London (Hybrid) | £30,000–£35,000 | Full Time | Initial 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

An award-winning global entertainment group is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join its busy London finance team on an initial six-month fixed-term contract. They make high-profile TV, live events and entertainment content for audiences worldwide, so no two weeks are the same.

You'll support both the production and corporate finance teams, reporting to the Senior Production Finance Manager and the UK Finance Manager. It's a hands-on role in a fast-paced, creative environment, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and being close to the action.

What you'll be doing

  • Processing supplier invoices, matching them to POs and getting them approved
  • Helping prepare weekly payment runs for vendors and crew expenses
  • Managing company p-cards (Pleo) and reconciling spend against receipts and project codes
  • Issuing and tracking petty cash floats for crew and heads of department, and checking receipts are valid and VAT-compliant
  • Assisting with monthly bank reconciliations
  • Supporting the production finance team with cost reports and payroll prep
  • Working with heads of department and production coordinators to sort out expense queries
  • Keeping accurate digital records for audit and tax credit compliance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
