Job Description

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team on a staff basis. This is a varied role combining finance administration with light HR and front-of-house duties — ideal for someone organised, trustworthy, and happy to take initiative. The role reports to the Finance Manager.

Location

Kemnay, Aberdeenshire (office-based)

Contract

Staff position, part-time

Days/Hours

Negotiable — Monday attendance required

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Reconciling purchase statements
  • Reconciling company credit cards
  • Processing sales invoices, proformas, and shipping invoices
  • Tracking HR holiday and absence forms
  • Answering reception phones and greeting visitors

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience using SAGE accounts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • A self-starter with a proactive attitude toward spotting tasks that need doing
  • Basic HR experience is a plus, though not essential
  • Confident, outgoing, and friendly, with strong integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Comfortable working unsupervised and managing your own workload
