📍 Redhill, Surrey | Hybrid & Flexible Working 💼 Maternity Cover | Potential to Become Permanent 💰 Up To £32,000 Per Annum ⏱ Full-time or Part-time Considered 📅 Start Date: ASAP

Build your accounting career in a role designed to develop you.

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at our UK Head Office in Redhill.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in billing, accounts receivable, credit control or transactional finance who is looking to broaden their accounting experience and take the next step in their career.

You'll play a key role across billing, credit control, accounts payable and bank reconciliations, supporting both UK and international entities. Alongside your core responsibilities, you'll receive structured training and mentoring with the opportunity to develop your skills towards a Junior Management Accountant role.

The position is initially offered as maternity cover, with the potential for the role to become permanent. We're also happy to consider both full-time and part-time applicants.

The Opportunity

This is more than a traditional Accounts Assistant position.

You'll be involved across a broad range of finance activities, from raising international invoices and managing customer accounts through to processing supplier invoices and completing bank reconciliations.

Working closely with the CFO and wider finance team, you'll gain valuable exposure to the financial operations of a growing international group, including multi-currency transactions, UK VAT, month-end processes and financial controls.

As your experience develops, you'll have the opportunity to take on more management accounting responsibilities, building your knowledge of month-end reporting, revenue and variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.

It's a role designed for someone who wants to build their experience rather than stay within one area of transactional finance.

What You'll Be Doing

Billing & Invoicing

  • Prepare, review and issue accurate invoices for UK and international clients, including multi-currency billing.
  • Ensure invoices comply with contractual terms, UK VAT rules and HMRC requirements, including the treatment of cross-border services.
  • Manage foreign exchange rates and support FX revaluations and reconciliations.
  • Resolve billing queries and discrepancies with consultants, internal teams and clients.
  • Maintain billing schedules and ensure invoices are issued accurately and on time.
  • Update monthly consultant commission sheets with billing and cash collection information, ensuring they are accurate and ready for payroll.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
