We’re recruiting…Accounts Assistant

Location: Telford / Hybrid - 3 days per week on site.

Contract: Full-Time (Part-time would be considered) and a 12 month FTC

Hours: Monday–Friday (40 hours)

About the Role

We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a 12 month fixed term contract - you will be studying towards AAT and looking to gain valuable experience in a busy Finance Team, within a Fixed Asset Role.

What You’ll do:

  • Fixed Asset Creations, Capitalisations and Disposals (Up to 250 assets created a month)
  • Depreciation cycles through SAP
  • Asset Under Construction reviews
  • Review and transact Inter Company transfers
  • General Ledger code clearing down in SAP
  • Various monthly journals
  • Allocation of hours to Projects
  • Monitoring movements on vehicle fleets
  • Physical Verifications
  • Impairment Reviews
  • Assistance with year end audits
  • Use of Excel spreadsheets to present and analyse key information

What you’ll bring:

  • Part-qualified AAT
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Good knowledge of Fixed Assets
  • SAP experience preferable
  • Must be able to think clearly, deliver quickly and accurately
  • Persistent, resourceful, self-motivated and be able to work to deadlines
  • Good team working skills
