Accounts Assistant - FMCG Sector
As an Accounts Assistant in the FMCG sector based in Bristol, you'll play a key role in managing financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role supports the accounting team by handling transactions, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the overall financial health of the business.

This opportunity is with a company operating in the FMCG sector, based in Bristol.
Description
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining records.
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve payment queries.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Experience in accounting or finance, ideally within the FMCG industry.
- Knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- An understanding of financial processes and procedures.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.

Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £27,000 per year, dependent on the level of experience.
