Job Description
Part-time Accounts Assistant
£17,000 – 16 hrs per week.
Energis Recruitment is recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client based near Dungannon.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and conscientious individual with a keen eye for detail to join a supportive team in a varied accounts role. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative activities of the business.
Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing including PAYE and Pension submissions
- Processing monthly HMRC VAT, returns and PAYE.
- Processing Intrastat Returns, EC Sales List etc.
- Bank management including customer & supplier payments, as well as intercompany bank transactions
- Bank reconciliations and euro currency exchange.
- Update Sales Master Spreadsheet
- Assist with the production of Management Accounts and other Financial Reports
- Recharges & purchase ledger processing/reconciliation etc within Sage 200
- Journal Entries as required (Payroll, Accruals, Prepayments, expense claims etc.)
- Fixed Asset Maintenance
- Assist in grant claims
- Assist in company marketing and social media

Criteria
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting role, ideally with experience of payroll
- Advanced MS Excel skills, proficient accounting software such as Sage
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision
- An Accounting qualification is highly desirable
