Founded 21 years ago, we are now established as one of the UK’s leading online fashion retailers. We employ around 140 employees across head office and retail, creating and selling a beautiful range of women’s clothing and accessories characterised by effortlessness, simplicity and a laidback sense of style. We love hard-working and talented people with a can-do attitude and a passion for what they do.
The Role
At Hush, we're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team and play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes. Supporting everything from supplier payments and sales reconciliations to cashflow reporting and month-end activities, you'll help ensure our financial information is accurate, controlled and delivered on time.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their finance career within a growing retail business. You'll gain exposure across multiple areas of finance, work closely with stakeholders across the business and contribute to a range of projects and process improvements.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to our Lead Financial Accountant, you'll support a variety of finance processes across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, banking and month-end activities, helping to maintain accurate records and strong financial controls across the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
