A well-established business based in Hereford is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within a supportive finance environment, with hybrid work available once training has been completed.
Your new role
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Assisting with bank and account reconciliations
- Supporting payment runs
- Allocating cash receipts and updating records
- Assisting with credit control activities
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting the finance team with month-end duties

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar role
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
- A proactive and positive approach to work
- Strong communication skills
