We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice to join our Accounts team based in Birmingham. The role will see you gain your AAT qualification followed by your ACCA qualification and give you exposure to the full accounts process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts preparation. Assist in preparing year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies.
  • Bookkeeping. Maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and reconcile accounts.
  • VAT returns. Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Client communication. Respond to client queries and request missing information.
  • Administrative duties — Filing, scanning, organising client documents, and supporting the wider team.
  • Software use. Work with cloud accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
