Accounts Associate – Graduate / Early Career
Location: London
Salary: Up to £30,000 maximum
Bonus: 5%
Working Pattern: 5 days per week in the office during training
Target Start Date: 2 November 2026
The Opportunity
We are working with a fast-growing UK payments technology company that is looking for an ambitious Accounts Associate to join its expanding commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or someone at the very beginning of their career who wants to build their experience within the FinTech and payments industry.
You may be looking for your first professional position after university, or you may have already started your career and realised that your current role or industry isn't the right long-term fit. What matters most is your potential, attitude, commercial awareness and desire to learn.
You'll work closely with experienced colleagues, gaining exposure to customers, payment products and the commercial operation of a growing technology business.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Accounts Associate, you'll support the management and development of customer relationships while learning how a successful payments business works.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Account Managers with the day-to-day management of customer accounts.
- Building strong relationships with customers and responding to enquiries.
- Helping coordinate internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Monitoring account activity and identifying potential opportunities or areas requiring attention.
- Supporting customer onboarding and ongoing account administration.
- Preparing account information, reports and internal updates.
- Learning how customers use the company's payment products and services.
- Developing an understanding of the payments and FinTech ecosystem.
- Supporting commercial initiatives designed to improve customer satisfaction, retention and growth.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone bright, ambitious and commercially minded who wants to build a career within FinTech.
You could be a recent graduate or someone with a relatively small amount of professional experience who is looking for a better opportunity.
You'll ideally demonstrate:
- A degree or equivalent level of education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence communicating with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Commercial awareness and genuine curiosity about how businesses operate.
- Confidence working with numbers and data.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take responsibility.
- An interest in technology, FinTech, banking or payments.

Salary, Bonus & Working Pattern
The salary for this position is up to £30,000 maximum, plus a 5% bonus.
Successful candidates must be able to work five days per week from the London office during the training period. This is a firm requirement.
Recruitment Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an assessment day as part of the recruitment process.
The company is recruiting all three graduate/early-career hires as a cohort and is targeting a 2 November 2026 start date. Candidates must therefore be available to start on this date.
