Are you looking to kick-start your career in accountancy and build valuable experience within a leading professional services environment? We are currently recruiting for an Associate to join a Top 10 accountancy firm in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their accountancy career who is keen to develop their technical knowledge, gain hands-on experience across accounts and tax, and progress within a supportive team.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Associate, you will...

  • Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts and maintain accurate client records.
  • Support senior team members with the preparation of basic accounting and tax computations.
  • Assist colleagues with gathering the necessary information for the completion of tax and VAT returns.
  • Communicate with HMRC and gain valuable exposure to a broad range of accountancy and compliance processes.
  • Manage your own chargeable time effectively while working both independently and collaboratively within the wider team.

Requirements:

As an Accounts Associate, you will need...

  • ACA/ACCA Studier or AAT qualified
  • A genuine interest in developing a career within accountancy and professional services.
  • Strong attention to detail with good organisational and communication skills.
