Accounts & Business Services Manager
Birmingham | Mid-Tier Accountancy Firm
A well-established mid-tier accountancy firm in Birmingham is looking to appoint an Accounts & Business Services Manager following a particularly successful period of growth.
The continued increase in client work has created a new position within the team, offering an experienced practice professional the opportunity to join the firm at an exciting stage of its development.
The role
As a Manager within the Accounts & Business Services team, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients and play an important role in supporting the continued growth of the department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact
- Reviewing accounts and other financial work
- Providing advice and support to clients across a range of accounting matters
- Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
- Supporting, reviewing, and developing more junior members of the team
- Building strong and long-term client relationships
- Working closely with Partners and senior members of the team
- Contributing to the continued development and growth of the department

About you
The firm is looking for an ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent practice professional with previous management experience.
You’ll have a strong background within an accountancy practice, with experience managing client relationships and reviewing accounts work. You’ll also be comfortable supporting and developing more junior team members and taking ownership of your client portfolio.
