Role Overview

In this role, you'll be responsible for the company's internal HR admin requirements, supported by an external HR provider and the other general managers. You'll oversee employee records, manage investigations and disciplinary matters, and support the onboarding process for new starters. In addition, you'll have full ownership of the end-to-end payroll function, managing a variety of weekly and monthly payrolls for both permanent and agency staff.

Alongside the Payroll and HR admin responsibilities, you'll also be involved in a broad range of accounting duties. These duties are shared with an Accounts Assistant, so you'll have support day to day. These duties include invoice processing, credit control, account reconciliations, VAT and CIS returns, as well as supporting the external Accountant with the production of management and statutory information.

  • Payroll Management: Full ownership of the end-to-end payroll function.
  • Accounting Duties: Invoice processing, credit control, account reconciliations, VAT and CIS returns.
  • Support: Work with the external Accountant on monthly management accounts and statutory accounts, and support the annual audit process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
