Your new role
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory accounts for a range of small and medium-sized businesses.
- Review accounts prepared by junior members of the team.
- Oversee bookkeeping and VAT compliance work.
- Prepare and review personal tax returns.
- Manage client relationships and provide proactive advice.
- Delegate work effectively and support the development of junior staff.
- Ensure work is delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines.

What you'll need to succeed
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience within an accountancy practice.
- Strong experience preparing accounts for SMEs.
- Sound knowledge of accounts preparation, VAT, and personal tax.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads, manage deadlines, and lead others effectively.
