Your new role

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare statutory accounts for a range of small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Review accounts prepared by junior members of the team.
  • Oversee bookkeeping and VAT compliance work.
  • Prepare and review personal tax returns.
  • Manage client relationships and provide proactive advice.
  • Delegate work effectively and support the development of junior staff.
  • Ensure work is delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines.

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong experience preparing accounts for SMEs.
  • Sound knowledge of accounts preparation, VAT, and personal tax.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, manage deadlines, and lead others effectively.
