We’re looking for an Accounts Manager to join the team at Langton Homes based in Uppingham, Rutland.
This is a varied role within a growing housebuilding business, combining responsibility for the company’s day-to-day accounts with a range of wider administrative and operational responsibilities.
You’ll play an important part in keeping the business running smoothly, working closely with the directors, site teams, suppliers and external consultants.
The role will include responsibility for:
- Supplier invoices, payments and month-end payment runs
- Xero, including bank reconciliations, journals and maintaining accurate financial records
- Monthly VAT and CIS returns
- Payroll and monthly cashflow management
- Cashflow projections and financial administration
- Supplier queries and general account management
- Building Control and warranty applications, inspections and documentation
- Coordinating utility and service connections across our developments
- General office administration and liaising with external suppliers and service providers

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and detail-focused, with good financial knowledge and the ability to manage their own workload. Experience with Xero would be an advantage, as would experience within construction or property business, but most importantly we’re looking for someone who is happy working across a varied role.
