A well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in West London is looking to recruit an ACA or ACCA qualified Accounts Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional who enjoys a hands-on role, mentoring junior staff, and building strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
The Opportunity
As Accounts Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of client affairs, taking responsibility for accounts production, reviewing work prepared by junior team members, and providing clients with practical business advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients
- Preparing statutory accounts and reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff
- Overseeing bookkeeping and VAT compliance work
- Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Working directly with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact

About You
You'll be a qualified accountant with a strong background in accountancy practice and the confidence to manage deadlines, delegate work, and build lasting client relationships.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualified experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong accounts preparation and review experience
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritise workloads effectively
