Accounts Manager role for a well respected accountancy firm in the Sidcup area

Client Details

A mid-tier accountancy firm in the Sidcup area is recruiting for an Accounts Manager to manage a busy portfolio of clients and a small team.

Description

  • Manage client accounts and oversee their financial reporting and tax compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and address their financial queries.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.

Profile

A Successful Accounts Manager Should Have

  • A professional qualification in accounting, such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing accounts within the accountancy practice industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor team members effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000, dependent on the level of experience.
