We’re looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Accounts Manager to join our team and be a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients, offering a blend of accounting, tax, planning and advisory services.
This role is not just about managing accounts; it’s about understanding the unique needs of each client and offering tailored advice that helps them achieve their goals. You will be the trusted advisor, the go-to person who clients rely on for guidance, expertise and clarity.

Key Responsibilities
- Workflow management and staff allocations
- Build strong and lasting relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients
- Understand client goals and challenges, proactively offering solutions that add value
- Organise and attend client meetings to best understand their needs
- Oversee client accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery of services – this includes the preparation and review of annual accounts, tax returns and one-off advisory projects
- Support and mentor junior team colleagues, reviewing work
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Full accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Solid experience within a similar role within an accountancy practice
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, personal taxation and financial management
- Good working knowledge of audit experience would be preferred (but not essential)
- Proficient in accounts and tax software
