Role Description
The Accounts Payable Administrator is a full-time, on-site position based in Castledawson. The role involves processing supplier invoices, matching purchase orders, and ensuring accurate and timely payments in line with company policies. Responsibilities include reconciling supplier statements, investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies, and maintaining up-to-date accounts payable records. The Accounts Payable Administrator will liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to address queries, support month-end close activities, and assist with reporting and audit requirements. The role also contributes to process improvements and adherence to financial controls.

Qualifications

- Strong Accounting and Finance skills, with experience in accounts payable processes.
- Solid Account Reconciliation and Analytical Skills to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for interaction with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software, spreadsheets, and general IT tools.
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (e.g., diploma or degree) are beneficial.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, and familiarity with purchase order systems, is advantageous.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting are essential.
