AP Analyst
Location: Glasgow
Work Type: Hybrid
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £28,000 – £28,500 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Glasgow.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of non-PO invoices across multiple regions. You'll be responsible for managing supplier queries, reconciliations, aged creditors, and debit balances, while ensuring compliance with company controls and financial regulations.
Working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will partner closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and finance colleagues to deliver an exceptional Accounts Payable service.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Process non-PO invoices accurately and within agreed service levels.
- Allocate invoice costs appropriately using accounting knowledge.
- Ensure invoices are VAT compliant and meet audit requirements.
- Manage and resolve supplier and stakeholder queries through to completion.
- Process and manage tickets, including invoice requests.
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor and action debit balances and aged creditors.
- Collaborate with payments teams to ensure smooth end-to-end processing.
- Escalate issues appropriately and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain process documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Accounts Payable experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
- Experience managing supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
