Waters Corporation is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Wilmslow.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your finance career within a global market-leading organisation. You'll join a supportive team environment where you'll gain valuable exposure to Accounts Payable processes, system improvements, and business projects, with ongoing learning and development opportunities available.
Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
- Processing Accounts Payable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Processing fixed asset and intercompany invoices
- Managing supplier queries and building strong vendor relationships
- Reconciling supplier statements and supporting account maintenance
- Updating purchase order records and supporting SAP processes
- Performing general ledger account analysis
- Processing weekly supplier payments
- Supporting Accounts Payable projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with ERP and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system testing
- Producing ad hoc reports and administrative support as required

Essential:
- Previous Accounts Payable experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Desirable:
- German language skills
- SAP experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba
- Accounting qualifications (or studying towards one)
