GRIDSERVE is e looking to expand our awesome Accounts Payable team to manage the increase in activity across the Group!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the receipt and verification of supplier invoices
- 3-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and good receipt notes
- Preparation of supplier payment proposals
- Assisting with the weekly supplier payment process
- Verification and approval of employee expense claims
- Maintenance and creation of new suppliers on the system
- Assisting with month-end AP processes
- Assisting with any audit queries
- Multi-currency bank reconciliations
- Ongoing communications with suppliers
- Ad-hoc duties to support the AP Lead
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy and Environmental and Quality Management System (compliant with ISO 9001 and 14001)

Skills/ Experience Required:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an Accounts Payable or similar role
- Passionate about sustainability and belief in the company mission to move the needle on climate change
- Positive attitude, a desire to learn more and further your career
- Good team player who enjoys working with an amazing team
- Great attention to detail
- Self-driven, focused, results and quality oriented
- Able to approach work with positive energy and integrity
- The ability to foster self-motivation to achieve tight deadlines
- Effective communication both verbally and in written form
- Computer literate. Must be a proficient user of Microsoft suite of packages including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, where needed
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is desirable
- Experience working in an international business with different currencies is desirable
