GRIDSERVE is e looking to expand our awesome Accounts Payable team to manage the increase in activity across the Group!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the receipt and verification of supplier invoices
  • 3-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and good receipt notes
  • Preparation of supplier payment proposals
  • Assisting with the weekly supplier payment process
  • Verification and approval of employee expense claims
  • Maintenance and creation of new suppliers on the system
  • Assisting with month-end AP processes
  • Assisting with any audit queries
  • Multi-currency bank reconciliations
  • Ongoing communications with suppliers
  • Ad-hoc duties to support the AP Lead
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy and Environmental and Quality Management System (compliant with ISO 9001 and 14001)

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an Accounts Payable or similar role
  • Passionate about sustainability and belief in the company mission to move the needle on climate change
  • Positive attitude, a desire to learn more and further your career
  • Good team player who enjoys working with an amazing team
  • Great attention to detail
  • Self-driven, focused, results and quality oriented
  • Able to approach work with positive energy and integrity
  • The ability to foster self-motivation to achieve tight deadlines
  • Effective communication both verbally and in written form
  • Computer literate. Must be a proficient user of Microsoft suite of packages including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, where needed
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is desirable
  • Experience working in an international business with different currencies is desirable
