The Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Accounts Payable function within a busy, centralized finance team. We are looking for an experienced finance professional who is confident managing a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency.

You will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the business to ensure invoices are processed promptly, queries are resolved effectively, and the Accounts Payable process runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • Role: Permanent part-time position working 22.5 hours per week
  • Location: Hybrid - 1/2 days per week onsite at Oxford Fertility

The Location

Oxford Fertility was established in 1992 and is one of the UK’s longest-standing and largest IVF clinics. Due to the passion, expertise, and reputation of our team, the clinic has grown into a leading fertility clinic and offers a full suite of treatment and diagnostic services, including PGT and IVM. Providing treatment to both NHS and private patients. Conveniently located in a business park setting on the outskirts of Oxford, close to junction 8a of the M40, there is ample free parking for staff and patients around the building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing supplier and intercompany invoices, monthly statements, and remittances for multiple clinics quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  • Dealing with correspondence & queries from suppliers & clinics
  • Raising and processing regular payment runs for multiple clinics
  • Maintaining the accounts payables balances and reconciling regularly with supplier statements
  • Ensuring all documentation is maintained on a daily basis (including invoices, credit notes, statements, and remittances)
  • Offer support to the wider business in relation to Accounts Payable processes and procedures
  • Support and assist the Finance team with accounting duties and ad hoc tasks as required

Experience and Qualifications

Essential

  • Previous experience in an accounts payable function (or similar role involving the data entry and processing of a large volume of transactions)
  • Experience working with and analyzing large data sets
  • Understanding of the Accounts Payable function and its importance within the wider business
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and experience dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Proactive, not reactive
  • Process and deadline driven
  • Highly numerate and comfortable working with numbers and interpreting data in Excel
  • Resilient and tenacious
  • Calm and diplomatic

Desirable

  • AAT (Level 3) or Accounting equivalent
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision 2017 is desired but not essential

  • Salary: Competitive (Depending on experience)
  • Location: TFP Oxford Fertility
  • Working Hours: 22.5 hours a week
  • Hours of work: Between 9.00am – 5.30pm
  • Hybrid working: One/two days per week on-site in Oxford
  • Pension: Dual contribution pension scheme
  • Holiday Entitlement: 27 Days + Bank holidays
