Job Description
Vertex Associates is hiring for a client in the healthcare sector seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional with strong inventory and purchasing exposure, alongside invoice and supplier management.
Accounts Payable
- Process supplier invoices with correct VAT treatment and coding to appropriate GL accounts and departments.
- Obtain invoice approvals from relevant Heads of Department (HODs) and ensure timely payment.
- Reconcile supplier accounts and statements monthly.
- Prepare bi-monthly payment runs and manage aged creditors.
- Maintain accuracy in AX and Concur systems, including bank details and invoice dimensions.
- Support intercompany reconciliations and contribute to cashflow forecasting.
- Provide training on PO and finance processes across the business.

Inventory & Purchasing
- Liaise with suppliers for timely delivery.
- Act as inventory system super user; support new starters and lab teams.
- Post month-end stock adjustments and reconcile stock accounts.
- Manage GRNI account and chase outstanding invoice copies.
- Monitor and respond to inventory email inbox daily.
General
- Save and file invoices electronically for easy retrieval.
- Communicate professionally across Teams, email, phone, and in person.
- Complete weekly admin tasks and aged creditor reports.
- Cross-train with team members to ensure coverage during absences.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required by AP Manager, Shared Services Manager, or Group Financial Controller.
