To support our rapid Amazon marketplace growth, we are now recruiting a seasoned AP Manager to lead our UK finance operation.
Job Overview
This is a core managerial role owning the full lifecycle of vendor payment, FBA settlement reconciliation, accounts payable control, and financial process governance for our UK & EU retail business. The candidate will lead process optimization, financial discrepancy resolution, vendor statement reconciliation, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, account management and external Amazon teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Amazon Settlement Management: Own end-to-end FBA and vendor settlement reconciliation, including statement verification, fee checking, allowance adjustment, refund verification, and cross-period financial discrepancy analysis.
- Accounts Payable Leadership: Manage full-cycle AP processes for vendors, logistics suppliers and service providers, validate invoice accuracy, control payment terms, and ensure timely and compliant payment execution.
- Financial Risk & Control: Identify financial risks including over-charges, incorrect commission fees, invalid logistics charges and settlement gaps; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce financial loss.
- SOP & Process Optimization: Build, standardize and optimize finance SOPs, improve reconciliation efficiency, streamline manual workflows, and promote data-driven financial management.
- Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead a small finance team, allocate daily workloads, monitor team performance, and align with internal operations, sales and Amazon seller support to resolve complex settlement and account issues.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly/quarterly settlement analysis, P&L fluctuation reports, cost structure reviews and financial performance summaries for senior leadership.
- Vendor Communication: Negotiate and follow up on unresolved disputes, chargebacks, missing reimbursements and supplier account exceptions.

- Proven Finance Experience: 3+ years of solid experience in FBA settlement, vendor reconciliation, seller finance or AP/settlement roles; candidates with UK/EU platform experience are highly preferred.
- Managerial Experience: 1–3 years team leadership or supervisory experience, capable of managing workflows, improving team efficiency and driving process improvement.
- Strong Amazon System Knowledge: Familiar with Seller Central, Vendor Central, settlement reports, reimbursement mechanisms, Amazon fee structures and dispute processes.
- Financial Acumen: Strong capability in data analysis, financial discrepancy checking, P&L analysis and cost control; highly detail-oriented and accurate with large-volume data.
- Cross-team Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills to coordinate with operations, sales, suppliers support teams.
- Language & Tools: Fluent English; advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with finance systems or ERP tools is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
